Micro Wedding With Meaning

If 2020 brought the wedding industry anything it was the term micro wedding! And while restrictions have been lifted and the wedding industry is getting back to normal micro weddings are here to stay!!! Brooke and Cody’s Lakeside wedding is a perfect example of why.

Growing up in central New Mexico, Brooke spent many summers Lakeside with her family every summer in fact! When Brooke started planning her wedding she knew she wanted it to be meaningful. At the beginning. She was thinking large traditional wedding, and after a couple of weeks she realized a traditional wedding wasn’t what she wanted. She ultimately decided to have a small intimate wedding at a location that she holds extremely close to her heart. Not only did she grow up on this lake, but it was the place that her fiancé now husband Cody proposed to her.

The morning of Brooke & Cody’s wedding, the weather brought in some heavy rain and gorgeous, overcast. They found themselves exchanging vows under a light sprinkle with a breathing backdrop.

After their ceremony, Brooke and Cody enjoyed lunch with family and friends Lakeside, and danced the afternoon away under the clouds.
