2023 Wedding Trends
Initially, when I started dreaming up this Styled Shoot I envisioned it with a couple. However, as I continued to plan with my amazing team of vendors, I really started to envision multiple bridal looks! So we decided to ditch the couple and showcase three amazing brides, while showing off six different trendy bridal looks!
Florals are definitely a major added detail and for this shoot I really wanted neutral colors with a touch of Boho. Dried, hanging, and floor florals are going to be huge trends for 2023. Thankfully I was able to incorporate all three in our gorgeous studio space provided by Studio Lighthouse Albuquerque.
For the decor, we kept it sweet, simple, & elegant! While rustic weddings are not going anywhere, any time soon. The goal in this case was to show elegance and class while featuring lighter and brighter tones. Showcasing an elegant tablescape, with crystal tableware, & see-through chairs. I also wanted to show that you can totally take an alternate route with cake in 2023 by adding gorgeous mini cheesecakes to your tablescape or even a full desert bar to include donuts or small pastries.
Slits & Sleeves
Look one just screams slits and sleeves! I wanted to show brides that if you're looking for the right time to pull your Mom's ole' dated wedding dress out of the closet and make it yours, IT IS NOW! The 80's are back people..puffy sleeves and big bows are making a statement in 2023 and they are here to stay!
Classic Elegance
Look two is simple, classic, & elegant. My bride wore a dress provided by one of our amazing New Mexico vendors; Bridal Elegance By Darlene. This look is timeless and can be so versatile, while we paired it with a stunning train veil, the gorgeous and sparkly white princess dress would definitely do all the talking on your special day.
Pop Of Pearl
Look three with a subtle pop of pearl! This simple, white mermaid style wedding dress, paired with the pearled veil is just absolutely stunning! While we incorporated pearls in this brides hairstyle, this would be a gorgeous look with or without the veil and a perfect way to keep it classy!
Girls Just want to have FUN!
By far my favorite trend of 2023 is flaunting that bridal jumpsuit or mini dress! While you may not wear one of these on the day of your wedding, you can always incorporate them into your dinner rehearsal or bachelorette party!
If you choose to wear one of these options on your wedding day, it’s not only a chance for an amazing photo op, it makes things extremely comfortable for you to party with friends and dance the night away!
All and all I wanted to bring a fun UNIQUE Styled Shoot for Bride’s to look through and find inspiration for one of the most important days of their lives!
