From Texas to Santa Fe For A Dreamy Proposal


There’s something incredibly special about photographing a surprise proposal, and Christian and Gabby’s evening in Santa Fe, New Mexico was one I won’t forget. Traveling from Texas, Christian planned every detail of their trip knowing he would be asking the biggest question of his life. While he had been carrying the secret for weeks, Gabby had no idea what was about to happen, making her reaction even more unforgettable.


With the golden hour light spilling across the breathtaking Pecos Mountains, Christian got down on one knee, and Gabby was completely caught off guard. The emotion, excitement, and joy they shared made for the most beautiful moments to capture, all set against one of New Mexico’s most stunning landscapes.

Santa Fe is an incredible place for a surprise proposal for so many reasons. First, the mountain views and golden sunsets create a naturally romantic backdrop. Second, the city offers a perfect mix of adventure, culture, and quiet scenic locations, making it easy to plan a meaningful surprise. And finally, a proposal during a vacation creates memories that will forever be tied to a place you'll always want to revisit together.


Christian and Gabby’s proposal was the perfect reminder that the most meaningful moments are often the ones we never see coming. Congratulations to these two, and thank you for allowing me to document the beginning of your next chapter together.
